For this project I wanted to create a structure that could be adapted and reused in different environments. I started by drawing a graphic pattern and then traced all aspects of my site from the artwork. I imagined the shapes would become extrudable volumes that sit independently under the roof hanging overhead. The extruded volumes would also structurally support the roof while leaving plenty of space for indoor activities under the canopy. Ideally the pavilion is a multifunctional piece that can be disassembled and rebuilt in different places such as an outdoor park or warehouse party.
